Danna Markson, LCSW CEO and Founder
Danna Markson, MSW, LCSW is a licensed psychotherapist specializing in individual, family and group therapy with children, adolescents and adults. Danna has extensive experience working with Eating Disorders, Anxiety, Depression, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, as well as Relationship Issues and Life Transitions.
Danna has over 18 years of clinical experience working with clients using a variety of effective therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Structural Family Therapy. Her approach to therapy is simple; provide clients with a warm, safe environment to address their concerns, coach and guide them with practical strategies for change, and watch them grow.
In addition to her private therapy practice in Livingston, NJ, Danna is Co-Executive Producer of the documentary Someday Melissa: the story of an eating disorder, loss and hope as well as Directory of the non-profit organization, Someday Melissa, Inc. She is a prominent lecturer in the field of emotion regulation and eating disorders.
Danna is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (IAEDP). Someday Melissa, Inc. is a proud member of the NEDA Network.

Yael Wedeck, LCSW, is an Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been in practice for 21 years. Her areas of expertise include treating Depression, Anxiety, self esteem and relationship issues, emotional responses to acute and chronic pain, as well as loss and grief. She has worked with children, adolescents and adults in individual, family and group therapy.
Drawing upon training in Psychoanalytic theory, Family Systems Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Yael has evolved an approach to her work that is client-centered and collaborative, and encourages living consciously and finding meaning and purpose in our lives. She is highly attuned to her clients, believing the power of presence is essential to the healing process.
Yael brings a calm and caring energy to support her clients as they navigate the challenges and triumphs of life.
Bijay Minhas, LSW, a recognized diversity professional, NLP coach and Licensed Social Worker. Her clients range from individuals, groups and families to small businesses and high profile media companies who have found themselves at the center of public controversy due to a lack of understanding of diversity and inter-cultural communication. She is also a seasoned workshop presenter and facilitator.
Before joining Mindsoother, Bijay worked as Social Worker at an Medical Day care Center for Asian elders. She has been a Social Work practitioner delivering ‘hands on’ services within adult, children and families work and care for older people for over two decades. Her particular interests lie in working with diverse and under-represented communities and on women’s empowerment and development.
As an established authority on cross-cultural understanding and communication, Bijay has written several cross-cultural competence guides and conducted numerous research studies in Social Care.
