Outpatient Therapist – Livingston:

Dynamic, thriving group practice in Livingston is in search of Part-Time fully Licensed Therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD or PhD) with at least five years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, adults and/or families.

Familiarity with and practice in Mindfulness and DBT a definite plus. Must be willing to work at least one evening and one weekend day during the school year and two days/evenings in the summer.

The right candidate is:

  • A New Jersey licensed and seasoned therapist who can provide Psycho-social Assessments, Individual and Family Therapy.
  • Experienced in providing Group Therapy and/or interested in running groups. This is essential to the position.
  • Experienced with at least one of the following:  self-harm, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, substance abuse, eating disorders.
  • Knowledgeable about and interested in DBT Skills.
  • Learned and skilled in a technique or niche including, but not limited to, MBSR, art therapy, sand tray therapy, meditation, etc.
  • A team player that is actively looking to learn and grow professionally.
  • Available and willing to commit to working one or two evenings and one weekend day.

We are looking to round out our amazing team with a Part-time coordinator in our Livingston office.

The right candidate:

  • Is goal oriented, self-motivated, detail oriented and highly-organized with an interest in mental health services and helping others.  Excellent time-management and multi-tasking skills are essential.
  • Has an exceptional phone voice and LOVES communicating with clients and potential clients on the phone and in person.
  • Has experience with bookkeeping and understands out-of-network insurance benefits.
  • Possesses exemplary writing skills. The Coordinator's writing will be visible to all of our clients and community members.
  • Comfortable with creating and maintaining office systems such as excel spreadsheets, ledgers, appointment calendars, etc.
  • Is able to execute and complete projects in timely manner.
  • Is punctual and reliable.
  • Has a positive mindset and great attitude. We are enthusiastic about the work we do.  We are looking for someone to complement our team.
  • Is not afraid to ask questions, clarify and/or share ideas.
  • Is more than a front-desk person.  The ideal candidate is also a behind the scenes go-getter who will be responsible for streamlining our office systems and helping us grow and expand.
