Parenting a child or teen with big emotions can feel overwhelming and isolating. This engaging workshop introduces parents to the core concepts of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and how it helps adolescents build emotional resilience, reduce impulsive behaviors, and strengthen relationships.

Learn practical tools to support your child’s growth while creating a calmer and more connected home environment.

In this workshop, you will:

• Understand how DBT helps teens manage intense emotions, reduce conflict, and improve problem-solving.

• Learn how skills like distress tolerance and emotional regulation can help your child cope with anxiety, anger, and frustration without shutting down or lashing out.

• Discover how DBT’s interpersonal effectiveness skills can help your child set healthy boundaries, ask for what they need, and navigate peer and family relationships more successfully.

The workshop will be recorded and a link will be sent to all who register - after the event
