In this FREE workshop you will:

  • Learn how to recognize common signs of emotional stress in kids and teens

  • Learn what emotional regulation actually looks like for different age groups

  • Learn practical ways to support transitions, from morning routines to after-school decompression

  • Practice how to foster resilience, confidence, and emotional communication at home

  • Learn when and how to seek additional support (school counselors, therapists, etc.)

The workshop will be recorded and a link will be sent to all who register - after the event

 

Shefali Shetty (she/her) is a Licensed Social Worker with over seven years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families, particularly in trauma-focused settings. Her work in a partial hospitalization program has equipped her with extensive experience addressing a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges, including depression, anxiety, and oppositional behaviors. Shefali is passionate about building strong, collaborative relationships with her clients and their families. She takes a strengths-based approach and integrates a variety of evidence-based modalities into her work, including Person-Centered Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and the Nurtured Heart Approach. In addition, Shefali incorporates principles and skills from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to help clients build resilience and navigate life’s challenges.
