Kathryn (she/her) is dually licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor who specializes in individual, family and group therapy with adolescents, teens, young adults and adults.
She has over 14 years of experience working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and challenging interpersonal relationship dynamics. She has worked in a variety of treatment settings, including community-based agencies, structured low and high intensity outpatient programs, as well as residential treatment programs for mental health and substance use needs.
Kathryn has a passion for serving vulnerable populations, most notably individuals and their families impacted by substance use and/or addiction. She takes a non-judgmental and creative strengths-based approach to therapy; this allows her to meet individuals exactly where they are as they begin their journey to wellness, recovery, and sustained change. Kathryn utilizes aspects of her training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness to help individuals achieve their unique goals."
