We are so excited to now offer Mindfulness Training and individual and group Meditation Sessions.

  • A widely used definition of mindfulness is paying attention, in a particular way, on purpose, in the present moment, non-judgmentally.”   - Jon Kabat-Zinn
  • Mindfulness is maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment.
  • Mindfulness will help you learn to identify and separate judgmental thoughts from your experiences. These judgmental thoughts often fuel your overwhelming emotions.  Mindfulness skills will help you focus on one thing at a time in the present moment, and by doing this you can better control and soothe your overwhelming emotions.
  • Studies have shown that the brain is neuroplastic – that it has the ability to change itself.  Mindfulness practice enhances neuroplasticity.
  • Mindfulness can lead to Wise Mind.  Wise Mind is the ability to make healthy decisions based on both your rational thoughts and your emotions. Wise mind is a balance between feelings and rational thoughts.
